1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used by online service providers to make their websites or services work, or to work more efficiently, as well as to provide reporting information.
2. How We Use Cookies
MACHIVOC uses cookies to enhance the industrial intelligence and sourcing experience on our platform. We use them to:
- Keep you signed in to your procurement dashboard.
- Remember your regional preferences and sourcing parameters.
- Understand how you navigate our supplier network to improve the platform's user interface.
- Ensure the security of the platform and prevent fraudulent activity.
3. Types of Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies
These cookies are strictly necessary to provide you with services available through our platform and to use some of its features, such as access to secure areas. Because these cookies are strictly necessary to deliver the platform, you cannot refuse them without impacting how our site functions.
Performance and Analytics Cookies
These cookies collect information that is used in aggregate form to help us understand how our platform is being used. For example, they help us understand which equipment categories are most searched, allowing us to improve our market intelligence reporting. We use this data solely for platform optimization and do not sell this data to third parties.
Preference Cookies
These cookies allow the platform to remember choices you make (such as your user name, language, or the region you are in) and provide enhanced, more personal features. For example, remembering your preferred currency or measurement units (e.g., metric vs. imperial).
4. Third-Party Cookies
In some special cases, we also use cookies provided by trusted third parties. This platform may use third-party analytics solutions (such as Google Analytics) to help us understand how you use the site and ways that we can improve your experience. These cookies may track things such as how long you spend on the site and the pages that you visit.
5. Managing Cookies
You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject cookies. You can exercise your cookie preferences by adjusting the settings in your web browser. Please note that if you choose to reject cookies, you may still use our platform though your access to some functionality and areas of our website may be restricted or degraded.
